Collection of miscellaneous legal documents created in New York City, ca. 1863 - 1888. They include judgments, receipts, blank forms, and notes on sentencing. There are dockets of cases in the Supreme Court and Mayor's Court for 1799-1800, and bills for various expenses for cases tried in those courts and the Circuit Court during the same period. A group of documents dated 1871-1888 deals with a dispute about property rights in the banks of the Hudson River involving the New York City Department of Docks.
